Hey pezz,

Actually I'm agreeing with you ....partially. Some things I play just because the trend I see says do it. FA sucked. TA was bad...but lo and behold stock goes up... On the other hand I've got a fair stake in well managed energy trusts now. They go up and down. They pay a nice dividend and like many other instruments they go up irrationally every once in a while and you can make some nice cap gains. Of course this should all work also for someone who plays the short side too.

I had a discussion with another poster re the merits of trading these trusts from time to time. I'll never convince him that I did better trading them and he'll never convince me I didn't but if he's happy with his returns and I'm happy with mine that's good enough for me :o) LIke you say if yuo's makin' money... you's makin' money.

EDIT of course that should read:
Challenging others though is most useful in assuring oneself that one is just different and indeed not wrong :o)
