The World Food Programme began a 10-day operation to airlift 2,000 tonnes of unmilled wheat from Pakistan to Turkmenistan from where it will be trucked into Afghanistan. Kudos to the the World Food programme for sending unmilled wheat. Those peanut butter and jelly MRE's we sent ( many of which are now presumably stacked safely in Taliban food lockers) were a little off the mark.
