I do have some understanding of your concern of the USA's "bully boy" image to ROW, and how rich and powerful interests are only concerned in "their slice of the action"

I am interested whether socialist government and a Keynesian approach to economic development is overall better for the global economy. Seems to me it can be abused more easily by those rich and powerful interests.

My view is essentially 911 could only have been averted if the securities measures recommended from umpteen different reports had been implemented. Trouble is it cost more and caused inconvenience (apparent beforehand) to the air traveller. Appropriate funds and attention were denied in intelligence, airport security, well the whole cabodle.
