TechieGuy, I have to make an observation. A couple of months ago when it looked like the Athlon was falling behind in Mhz a lot of people here panicked, sold and were talking as if the end was coming for AMD. A couple of posters were suggesting a PR-like scheme or at least dropping the Mhz ( my idea )to bring AMD back but they were basically ridiculed by everyone else. Now that it seems that the XP Ratings are working and AMD might actually break even or maybe post a profit ( depends on Flash ), we're all getting cocky again. I suggest we stick with reality for a while and hope for AMD to execute well ( or Intel to stumble ) otherwise by the end of next year we may have a 2 Ghz .13 Pally against a 3Ghz Northwood in which case the XP rating will be useless.
