Tellium Confirms Fourth Quarter 2001 Guidance
Guidance For 2002 Confirmed as Well
OCEANPORT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2001--Tellium, Inc. (NASDAQ:TELM - news), provider of the world's first in-service intelligent core optical switch, today confirmed its guidance for the fourth quarter of 2001. In meetings with investors at the AeA conference in San Diego, as well as other investor meetings, Tellium reiterated its expectations of revenues in 2001 and 2002. Estimated revenues for 2001 continue to be in the range of $130-$135 million. In addition, based on current projections, Tellium continues to expect revenues in 2002 will be approximately $288 million.

Tellium recently announced its third quarter revenues were $40.1 million, an increase of 32 percent over Tellium's second quarter 2001 revenues of $30.4 million. Revenues for the fourth quarter continue to be expected to be in the range of $44 million to $49 million.
