Afghan cavalry charges at tanks on horseback Northern Alliance fighters in Afghanistan have been charging Taliban tanks on horseback. They are relying on the old fashioned cavalry charge while the allies use laser guided missiles, stealth bombers and elite special forces. US commandos outside Mazar-e-Sharif say were amazed to see Northern Alliance fighters charging Taliban tanks on horseback.
