I think I'll PM Jeff too. Banning Vendit for a month, and now banning Scott, is too much for little ole me.

Thoughts about the market (which I can't even really watch on this rather encouraging week)...something Teresa said...we talk about bottoms being formed when people puke at the lows, when there is blood on the streets. Well on Sept 11 there was literally blood on the streets of New York, the financial district, in fact. What better bottom is there?

After that bottom was in place, barring an unforeseen terrorist disaster of huge proportion, in an odd way the WTC has actually "saved" the market. It filled the vacuum, the endless grinding down that was so deadly. It's forced more interest rates cuts, solidarity, and will foster new business particularly in security. War stimulates the economy. The billions the post office is spending, the billions to rebuild financial district--that's a LOT of jobs.

having a businessman as the NY mayor might help altho of course (ugh) I did not vote for him <g>
