Same here on all points ... these will be trailing financials on Monday, for the quarter ending 30 Sept, so i doubt that much of a trend will be shown in them ... two aberrations in the period - the GA acquisition which segb started on the books as of 01 Aug [as i recall], and of course the 11 Sept shut-down of markets for a few days ... on the latter, i did hear that trading through segb DA had an active period following the shutdown, so there may be no net reduction ... don't know, just surmising from stuff i heard fourth-hand ..... but the market in segb and cpt.v are both studiously avoiding a telegraphed message that we've been elected Flavour of the Month
One of these days though ... as beararn points out on stockhouse, it would take only one of the alliances to catch on with traders in its locale, and bingo, the thing starts to snowball ... i wonder about this new greek one, i know a few greeks, they love to trade ... maybe not a characteristic of the nationality, just the ones i know, hard to say .... you'd expect Hong Kong to lead maybe? - seeing as how it's home turf for segb, and the affinity for trading, both
[edit] - just heard a rumour that the update to follow edgars/sedars will likely have something on October trade numbers ... that would be great, either way it goes ... but still i think the FY01 posted likely in late February will be where we really get confirmation of whatever it is that's in store for us ... cheers |
