bombadier-

this is yer pilot speaking:

war is not pretty. too bad they didn't consider that before they killed innocent civilians in washington and new york.

<rant> with all the hype in the media and that floating
among the angry misinformed, it's easy to make conjectures
about a few things that have yet to be proven.

i think we're killing these dudes because their tribunal
refused to hand over a friend of theirs that we've accused
of inspiring and plotting terrorist acts... let's don't
jump to what could quite possibly be erroneous conclusions
and state that THEY committed the murders in america.

personally, i believe in and support our system of law
enforcement that apprehends suspects for trial (using
appropriate force), incarcerates and fairly tries them,
sentences them and carries out sentence. this appears
to be what we are trying to do.
calling it "WAR" is
unfortunate because the process becomes confused with
past "wars" against peoples, nations and states where
almost all force is fair and complete annihilation of the
enemy is a justifiable act of self-defense.

ever since the united states gained the nuclear capacity to
obliterate the entire human race in less than a week, "war"
for the united states has been obsolete. "law enforcement"
has taken its place. it was an inevitable evolutionary
step of civilization.

ok now bombshell...
carry on. </rant>
