Poet, a coupla more things about military wives. waiting wives watch cnn constantly...every news report of an American casualty brings another sleepless night as they all wait for a chaplain to bring one of them bad news. when a soldier retires, his wife is presented a certificate of appreciation for her dedication. when a soldier is killed, his wife is presented the coffin flag. the presenter states that she is receiving this flag "on behalf of the president and as a token of appreciation for her sacrifice." being an American soldier's wife can be difficult. unclewest
