I am sure you realize that these are contradictory statements. I have used BORL compilers for 11 years and I like their current C++ tools better than MSFT's, but they are losing the battle with MSFT. The downside risk is financial failure followed by a purchase at much lower than current prices by a member of the anti-MSFT camp (e.g. Oracle).
