NV, there are a lot of cross currents in this market, and that one you mentioned, which is the huge reverse of the yield curve inversion in jan 2000.

We have probably seen a bull market secular top, in jan 2000, imo, and trading ranges will be profitable to sell when people get bullish and buy when people get bearish

and forgetting the buy and hold mantra that everybody bought during 95-99 run-up.

the worse case scenario is that we are entering a deep deflationery cycle combined with a synchronous worldwide contraction like the 30's, there is a lot of evidence that could be - new era - new economy, record extremes in a lot of areas, god i hope not, we would probably not be able to have this friendly chat in that case.
