Thanks for the reply. I agree 100%. Re: "The really interesting thing is that the Enron scam is almost certainly not unique to that company. When the only thing that matters to management is holding up the stock price, integrity is an afterthought." How true. The sad thing is that a lot of hard-working Enron employees with mortgage payments to make and kids in college will lose their jobs because of management mismanagement. And what will happen to the higher-ups responsible for all this? Why they'll get fat severance deals and continue to play golf and drink manhattans on Saturday afternoons.
