Skeeter,

If you are using Windows 98, you can use TweakUI to add items to the "New>" menu item. TweakUI is a "PowerToy" that is not included in the default installation of Windows 98.

How to Install and Uninstall the TweakUI Tool in Windows 98:

support.microsoft.com

TweakUI will be added to your control panel (Start=>Settings=>Control Panel). When you open TweakUI, navigate to the "New" tab. Items that can be added to, or removed from the "New>" Menu Item are listed. You can select or deselect what you want to appear the Menu.

To add a new Item that is not listed, drag and drop a template (i.e. Word Document) onto the Item list. A new entry will be created which you can select or deselect to appear on the "New>" Item list.

WARNING:
Microsoft Platforms Support does not support the installation or use of the TweakUI tool. This tool has not been updated for use in Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows Me, even though many options in TweakUI may function the same in Windows 98 Second Edition as they do in Microsoft Windows 98.
NOTE: Do not use the Windows 98 version of TweakUI in Windows Me.

Hope this helps.

B.K.
