<And I pointed out that this is untrue that they spend much on research.>

Yea.... and they're big fat buracracies...they have little flexibility to even be in cash when their mandated group is inflated. You don't seem to want to deal with the real issues, what good is research when this is the case??? One must understand that EVEN the whole idea of 'track record'... the ONE argument that these guys work for the client [do well to keep them] is a 2 edged sword... they are afraid to sell overvalued securities incase they become MORE overvalued and they lose out to someone who stayed fully invested. Anyone involved with the industry admits this.

<Thus they do have the best possible understanding of a companies fundamentals and still lose..>

Disagree.... they just plain often suck, see above... it's not because fundamental analysis is useless IMO.

<You the one who need the deep breaths.........You can't be so stupid that you don't get it now ..Just pretending so as not to admit that you wuz wrong...>

No, your verbage gives away your state of mind.... whirling and swirling... sorry, not wrong... any more than Warren Buffet or thousands of other fundamental investors are wrong... somehow you don't see the comedy of the situation... you're trying to get me to agree that research is useless, and when I don't, you attack.

<.Only the weak and unsure can't admit it..Surely I don't believe you is weak and unsure of your self. >

Exactly, I'm not... therefore there is no doubt no reason to admit anything. I don't see any weak, or unsure verbage in any of my posts, yet yours is full of that and attacks on my obvious, solid, well reasoned position. Why not just leave it to the readers of our posts to draw their conclusions about our opinions? For some reason you seem to have an aweful lot invested in your 'position' about 'trading' as opposed to fundamental investing... as if trying to override some underlying weakness. What ever.
