So that's the new slogan!?!?!?!?!? LET'S ROLL???????????????????? that's pathetic.... Easy for you to say I guess. But you are so wrong. I can't believe that you don't see the foolishness of what you say. You get it don't you? You know what those words are? Some of the last words spoken by a man whose bravery so overshadows your own pathetic statement that it makes me cringe to hear you mock it. I am cringing now... but some days ago I was thinking about what happened on that plane. And I cried. I was overwhelmed by a rush of emotion that I have a hard time comparing to anything I have ever felt before. The man who's words you are belittling so cavalierly spoke to his wife for the last time... his pregnant wife. And she told him what had happened with the other three planes. And then something unique happened. He and some other heros (who had more bravery in a hangnail than you have in your whole body) rose to do a thing that you or I can only imagine. They did the only thing they could do other than lie down and wait for what they knew was inevitable... They took back the plane from the people who had hijacked it. The man on the phone said good bye to his wife who carried the child he would never meet - for the last time. He said the Lord's prayer, and then he said the words you scorned: "Let's Roll!" He and those other folks took back the plane and drove it into the GROUND He sacrificed his life so that people like you could go on living. So that the people who wanted to work a greater destruction would fail. And, yes... in a way, so that scum like you could live to ridicule his words. The people whose lives they saved will never know for sure where that plane was headed. But the brave men who took back that plane knew what their fate was. And you ridicule his words simply because they were quoted by a man who you disrespect. The least you could do THIS TIME... The least you could do to honor the sacrifice of the good people on that plane that day is to drop your partisan bullshit for JUST ONE SECOND. Pick some other fight. You may find the words "Let's Roll" trite or 'pathetic' but you don't understand. I pray that there are more men in this country like Todd Beamer. And less like you. I hope that faced with the same situation I could do the thing he did... And if it comes to it I will go to war to defend even your right to a (pathetic) opinion. But I will also exercise my right to say what a fool you are. Let's Roll.
