Have the following problem on a HP PIII, win 98: something happened awhile ago, not sure what, but now i am unable to save a file in Word 97. get a lack of memory message (ram is 32, which has been plenty for this machine. when we boot up, get the following message: "BR_SRVC.DLL file is missing or cannot be found" - pressing ok boots the machine. never had this message before the problem arose.
only seems to affect word. can type in a new word file, and print it, but cannot save it, either to HD or to disk, cannot open any existing word files. when try to save a new word file, it wants to create a rescue document, which can be done, but cannot be printed or transferred to a floppy either.
can print email, quicken pages etc. HELP!! tia. larry
