you do not have to keep vouching for this guy seymour hersch. Mike, You're making a mistake. You find someone who writes things that conform to your world view and then you crown them "the reliable one." Not a good way to read the paper, not a good way to learn. As you might see, just a post or two before this one, I offered my view of this. That is that if I had to choose one for reliability, Shuger or Hersh, I would go with Hersh, for two reasons: Hersh has a track record that can be checked and, second, Shuger, best I can tell from that post, is not a journalist but an editor or columnist. Those are different beasts. John
