AMD pledges to have 0.13 micron bulk parts in Q1, and SOI parts in Q3. No foundry to my knowledge does 0.13 micron SOI, so all 0.13 micron foundry parts will be bulk (unless someone gets something together soon). My question is, will AMD actually have a 0.13 micron bulk process distinct from their SOI process, or will all of the bulk wafers be foundry wafers??? Of course, one could argue that their current process for the "XP's" is essentially their 0.13 micron bulk process...
