The jury also awarded commercial fishermen $287 million to compensate them for economic losses suffered as a result of the spill. The appeals court left that part of the verdict intact. Way down in the kenny-gram is the fact that those who lost money will be compensated. But all this whining about losing what the expected as a lotto jackpot has the weaker minds upset. The punitive canceled damages were 17.4 times the losses and in additional to compensation to the losses. So this woman whining about a loss of lets say 200 was going to get 3.5 million instead of her loss of 200 thousand. If she lost a million let's say she is pissed that she will not get 17 million in addition to the 1 million she lost. Don't we all feel just so sad. tom watson tosiwmee
