The reason I think this is that although Paul may not have the unilateral banning power of a dejure moderator he sets himself up as the moderator defacto by sitting back and waiting until he sees a post, or comment, or idea that he does not like and then all he needs to do is insert a few 'athwipe' references, foul language, personal jibes, repeat them until nerves are raw and soon the thread is flooded with petty responses, baiting, sparring and the original idea is lost in the maelstrom. Ignoring Paul and all responses to him solves this problem. However it does still allow others to read his posts. That's what's too dangerous for this thread. EP
