It's been pointed out to me that two of ASA's top ten holdings are platinum producers. The convenience of trading ASA and the discount lead me to think that it might (for me) be the best way to get some platinum exposure. Along, of course, with the gold.

Thanks for mentioning the possible stock offering at SWC. That's never a very agreeable thing to buy into--at least not to me.
