turkey time!

i love it! my family thinks there has to always be some sort of jello salad if it's a holiday. here's one i like to make instead of cranberry at thanksgiving:

Holiday Jello Salad

2 pkgs. (3 oz) raspberry jello
2 cups boiling water
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 pkg of frozen raspberries (thawed)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sour cream or 8 oz. cream cheese(softened)or 1/2
ea.

disolve gelatin in boiling water. cool slightly then
add cranberry sauce, thawed raspberries and mix well
cool a little more to kind of set it.

add nuts and sour cream. blend into jello mixture but
not completely so that it's swirled into it.

chill until firm. you can serve it with whipped cream
topping if you like.

rose, i won't ask what a "new york hung" turkey is. are you talking about clappy again?
