The main problem is Powell and his ideas how to conduct foreign policy. Slowly the US is letting itself in a very complex morass. The Russians are just waiting to pick the low fruit IMHO. China is waiting for the soft spot to punch. I hope that they will wake up and realize that India is a much more preferable ally than Saudi Arabia and their friends. Afghanistan will be the easy part no matter that already I see major political unrest as India Iran Pakistan and Russia have very different agendas there. If India allies itself with Russia those will be bad news as Iran will follow. As to the PLO criminals they are what they are and will not change. There is a possibility to recognize them as a state and they will continue to support their terrorist groups within the PLO ....... and then WHAT ?? Will the US blast the PLO and Lebanon ?? I do not think so. ......... the training camps in the Beka in Lebanon will expand even more until a real blow will happen. BWDIK Haim
