the tape is real. i remember seeing that senate session with oliver north that day, and i saw the questioning about his $60K security fence. so that was not fabricated. i do not recall however north's naming of the terrorist. even if i had heard the name of the terrorist, i would not have paid any attention to it unless it were abu nidal -- whose name i knew well at that time. so he did not name abu nidal.
