I'm sure that knowing what he does now, Mr. Greenspan would very much like to go back and change what he did. I don't think it was ever his intention to inflict pain on his nation. But Sea Otter wished to blame the current economic situation on Mr. Bush: Message 16630953 I was simply pointing out that the origins of this problem predated his Presidency AND even his candidacy. Arafat? "Uneasy lies the head...." It appears again that that seemingly hopeless Northern Ireland quagmire might actually get resolved. Maybe somehow the same might be achieved for the Middle East. Maybe.
