Suppose it turns out that the actors in the anthrax case turn out to be good ol' white "christians"? I wouldn't be at all surprised, actually. I'm half expecting something like that. Tell me: In those TV clips of crowds celebrating the destruction of the World Trade Center towers, how many Irish did you see? How many Japanese? How many Sikhs? How many Mexicans? I shouldn't assume that this was a rhetorical question. Ok, they were all Muslim. Now a question for you, what percentage of the Muslim world did they represent? I don't know. Do you? I've been in the Middle East and talked frankly with some Arabs about this. They universally oppose the US policy in the region. Strongly oppose it. And hold the US responsible for their defeats in their wars with Israel. So you think maybe there might be a connection between those attitudes and 9/11/2001? Nobody in this country to my knowledge has advocated expulsion of Arabs or Muslims or their internment. What is being considered is a much higher level of scrutiny of visa applications from Arabs. Do you have a problem with that?
