cboe.com Zeev - What do you make of this? Staggering reversal in P/C ratio today. Call buying is done for sure. People trying to protect themselves with covered calls? That is my take. I wish I could see the strikes. If they were Nov then perhaps they prop this sucker up somehow till after expiry.... but that goes against max pain. Perhaps that put buying provided some support today. We have not even started down and put buyers are out there. As a short I am not sure I like this. options on DEC at the money will not cover losses on a retest of 1400 or so. The other possibility is the smart money knows this rally is over and is buying puts. Thoughts?
