Friday November 9, 7:12 PM Blue chips and techs lead unconvincing Singapore rally By Muralikumar Anantharaman sg.news.yahoo.com SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore shares rallied on Friday as blue chips and technology stocks bounced from recent dips on buying by funds and traders. Market analysts said the buying could be driven by greater liquidity flowing the back into the market, and the sharp moves may not be supported by changes in the fundamentals. "At this moment, there's really no fundamental reason that I can think of for the performance of the blue chips, other than the fact that we were underperforming most of the markets in the recent past," said Chan Tuck Sing, head of sales at OUB Securities.
