Bingo. That is why Mani started this thread, so everyone would be courteous. Paul epitomises the exact opposite. To just put Paul on ignore would mean there are no rules about being courteous. If Paul can cuss and swear at everyone, why can't everyone else swear right back and at each other. Several weeks ago, I was banned for calling someone a bitch. You didn't see me, or any of my friends (I assume I have at least one here) start yelling about thought control, and all of those other terms you guys are coming up with. I complied with the ban, I am back, and I never once complained to Mani about how unfair it was. Why is it so different with Paul? To leave Paul continue posting, while abusing all of the rules, means you have no rules. That is why putting Paul on ignore doesn't solve the problem.
It is clear to me that the only difference between ignoring Paul and banning Paul is to prevent others from reading his posts as well as yourselves. <<<<<<<<<<
Huh??? We can't possibly stop Paul from posting his thoughts on the Intel thread or the regular AMD thread or any other thread on the internet. If I ever have an irresistable urge to read one of Pauls deep thoughts, I will go to one of them; just as you and everyone else here has that option. Besides, I am sure that if Paul comes up with a good one, one of the other Intel posters on this thread will repeat it. You can bet that if Tench were to say the exact same thing here, that Paul would have, twice as many AMDroids would have read it, and given it the respect it deserves, because Tench has always given and gotten respect. Paul gets no respect, because he never gives any respect. |
