it might not be a bad idea to temporarily shut them down until we get a handle on the terror situation.

our immigration policy has not been reasonable for a long time.

only if we choose those kind of politicians. the politicians are a function of the electorate who puts them in positions of power. we have the power to throw them out of office if they subvert our will. so the blame lies with our society as a whole, not just with politicians.

that is precisely why our founding fathers made it clear when drafting the declaration of independence that this newly desired form of government should answer to a higher power.
