Allen, I just want to throw my two cents in here and I didn't know how to make a "to all" response but... Just yesterday my 200 MB. Syquest drive gave up the ghost and died completely, just two months out of warranty!!! MacWarehouse told me I was basically screwed. I went ahead and ordered a zip drive and a bunch of cartridges which will arrive at my doorstep today. I am moving into the future with some relief. Syquest's quality control has always been piss poor and I am glad to be rid of them forever. Know anyone who wants to buy some 200 MB. Syquest cartridges real cheap? A good friend who recently bought a Jaz external for his Macintosh has had his first Jaz cartridge go bad on him and destroyed all his data. Has anyone else had any bad experiences with either Zip or Jaz media? My impression is that Iomega's quality control is pretty good but I am still very concerned about data integrity on these cartridges.

I own 700 shares of IOMG and am at a paper loss at the moment of about 40% As I have been reading this thread over the weeks, I have been getting longer and longer on IOMG even though I sure am nervous about the whole thing and have far less risk tolerance than I thought I did. Anyone have a guess as to the market reaction and subsequent price change in the stock after the 2Q earnings hit the street? I am thinking about selling some calls soon after the news hits.

trying to be LONG
