Good work Brian.... I just got my new Dell Catalog and could not believe how much computer $1000.00 buys (w/O monitor)... This is part of the contradictory feedback that we are getting. INTC and Dell, claim to see things improving, while others talk "no light at the end of the tunnel". The same may be true in the semi-equipment area...for some the bottom has passed while others are still in a freefall. Examples (six month viewpoints) Good Outlook Poor outlook LTXX..............EGLS SSTI..............ATML NVLS.............. LRCX.............TER INTC..............AMD CSCO............JDSU PRIA..............ASYT DELL..............CPQ These are not exact matches as per business plans but an examples from the most recent quarterly reports. AMAT report will carry a lot of weight for the whole sector. note: I'm long most of this stuff.....with stock or options. Regards, Jerome
