Bingo. That is why Mani started this thread, so everyone would be courteous. Paul epitomises the exact opposite. To just put Paul on ignore would mean there are no rules about being courteous. If Paul can cuss and swear at everyone, why can't everyone else swear right back and at each other. Several weeks ago, I was banned for calling someone a bitch. You didn't see me, or any of my friends (I assume I have at least one here) start yelling about thought control, and all of those other terms you guys are coming up with. I complied with the ban, I am back, and I never once complained to Mani about how unfair it was. Why is it so different with Paul? To leave Paul continue posting, while abusing all of the rules, means you have no rules. That is why putting Paul on ignore doesn't solve the problem. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>
That is why I decided enough is enough. Why should Paul be so special. Several wks ago, I, personally was kicked off for calling Monica a bitch. Mani didn't play favorites there, even though Mani, considering his background, probably agreed with me. Where were your calls for thought control then. I got banned because I broke Mani rules and I deserved it; Paul also deserved it. And to me, one of the true tests of a man is how he reacts to a fair punishment; and whether he learns something from it. Paul fails on both counts.
To be honest, I can't fathom what you Intelabees are crying about. Paul can still post on the Intel thread. You won't have to miss one of his precious posts. And if his posts are so valuable, just teeming with information, well then, it is my loss, and your gain. But I intend to stand on my principles. I accepted Manis ban then because I agreed with him, and I agree with Paul's ban now. |
