490 Clawhammers would fit on an 8 inch wafer, and yields improve when die size goes down. Edge loss is also minimized. Edge loss would use up most of that slack (but not all of it) and that calculation still have the margin of 26 million produced vs. 25 million "required."

I agree that it's a theoretical maximum unlikely to be achieved.
