combjelly: But the difference is that UMC has licensed IBM's process for 130nm and 100nm. But isn't this just the "IBM fab process", as opposed to the internally developed process that IBM uses to produce their own Power processors. This is where we could really use TWY - I recall him explaining these differences back when AMD initially announced a "multi-million dollar" deal with IBM. -fyo
