Future wars may be fought over water. Only .5% of all the water on the Earth is accessible fresh water. In the US the Colorado and in China the Yellow rivers no longer make it to the oceans at times during the year. In the US western Plains the great Ogallala Aquifer is starting to run dry. Today 2.1 billion people are living without enough water for drinking, cooking and sanitation.
