Most, all of my galze formulations are lead free. Actually, the lead would burn out at such high temps.(2350°F, cone 10) Regardless though, when moxing glazes of any kind, and that goes for mixing dry clay formulas) is it mandatory to wear a mask and have a good venting system.

In the early days I admit to not wearing masks, I can't say it has proven to be detrimental yet, but now, I will not do anything with dry chemicals with out a good mask and venelation system in place.

I also need to address the venelation requirements of a gas kiln which I negated to mention in post #4.
