God forbid you have a connection to make --you may as well kiss that goodbye if your connection is less than 90 minutes after time you land.

Not true...I just went through O'Hare on the way to Winnipeg and Churchill, Manitoba to see Polar Bears. We caught an earlier than scheduled departure (including luggage) to Winnipeg within 30 minutes of our connecting flight landing. You do not have to re-clear security at O'Hare when changing flights. We landed at O'Hare on Concourse C and went directly to Concourse E and that was even an international departure to Canada. Overall the experience was very smooth for all legs of our trip.
