I still say the best remedy is to put Windows in the public domain & have it maintained by committee. This has worked for Unix and it is the best way to prevent more conflicts of interest by a monopoly. You don't need to break up Microsoft, just force it to divest Windows. They can keep their apps. I guess the Justice Dept. didn't have the gonads to go forward with that kind of remedy... JMHO
