266 yards on 35 carries for alexander... 3 tds including an 88-yard run when the game was tied at 20. that's better than ahman green at green bay. maybe this alexander kid was worth the first round pick. he doesn't catch a ton of passes but when they run him over 30 times, they seem to win.... maybe holmgren is the 2nd coming of chuck knox... jackson, the 2nd year wideout had a good game. the rookie robinson had a fumble... if he can take care of the ball he should develop right now jackson is the go-to guy for hasselbeck.. if you look at the stats you'll see that the raiders were fairly dominated. they only got to hasselbeck once for a sack while gannon took 3 sacks from the seahawk defense. hasselbeck had been sacked 23 times in his 5 previous starts. now holmgren is facing one of those games which came to define erickson's failure... the seahawks are at the point to make a playoff run, but they must go 5-4 and not 4-5. erickson never could win such a game. he and then-gm randy mueller did draft ahman green though... 3rd round out of nebraska... nice pick but this alexander is almost making us forget about green... of course green would be an excellent backup but this alexander is the real deal... andy
