Eric: There isn't any news to account for Novell's dump today except the portfolio managers doing the window dressing. As a stock that's performing lousy and is looking to continue performing like that for awhile, this would be just the type of stock they dump so that they can show the investors what gems they've been holding. In other words, they're sweeping stocks like NOVL under the rug where, at least for now, they belong. Hey, $1.3M settlement--the stock should go up with such a windfall, right--that much money's going to be looking good next to next quarter's earnings.
