Dear Mr. Alsuezi:

I thank you for your openness and acceptance of my challenege.

Here is my first question to you (and this is from your own post). You have indicated in your last post that:

+++I make no claim whatsoever to be knowledgeable in Islam or the Holy Qur'an... true, I read a lot, but not all about Islam... actually, I read the least about Islam if at all.++++

Then how can you possibly be such a strong defender of something if you do not know what it is?! Throughout your posts on this thread you seem to be a strong advocator of Islam and seem to want to defend it with your own life. Furthermore you become upset when people speak negatively of it.

My question to you as expressed above is how can you possibly believe in a religion and faith that you admittably do not know much about (if any at all)! You do provide the links and sources for others to go and find out what Islam is all about, and yet you - yourself - are totally ignorant of those links and sources, and are following your faith without knowing much about it and not even willing to read about it (as you have indicated in your previous post) to learn more as what it says so at the minimum you could answer the issues/questions that others are raising with your religion (let alone for your own benefit to find the truth about the very faith and religion you so strongly are following)?

Therefore above is my first question to you. Why so many Moslems are so fanatically defensive of their religion when they do admit they do not know much about it and always invite others to go and do their research to find out, while they -themselves - are not willing to do the same?!

Sincerely,

Mr. Stevenson
