TiVO is not a consumer giant. Sharp is. Sony and Philips are. I was merely pointing out that these guys are not a bunch of low-tech yokels who are unaware of Linux. Sharp's new PDA provides evidence that consumer electronics companies are watching Linux closely. When Linux on the desktop is ready for the mass market, there will be large-scale manufacturers lining up to be the first with a product. Dave
