We know that both engines, the fuselage, and at least one wing wound up in four different places. We know that one engine was essentially intact when it came off - that's the one that landed in the gas station lot, miraculously missing the pumps. We know that the other engine actually landed on a three story house, which causes me to doubt that it exploded - if it had, it would have fallen in pieces and the witnesses would not have been able to say that it was an engine that hit the house.

We probably know that the explosion was near the junction of one wing and the fuselage - that's what the eyewitnesses say. Where's the luggage compartment on these planes?
