Thomas, today's action was mostly a result of the WSJ article which was maliciously onesided relative to technology sales and the Komag deal. the article failed to quote credible research sources. Dataquest stated that computer sales were picking up substanially ("booming" was Gateway's word) in June, making up for a slower than average April and May. IOM tends to dance to the nearest tune, but any fractionalization of the market is irrelavant if IOM lets us all know how sales are going, i.e., 7 mill Zips sold. shorts, i know, are typically wolves in sheeps clothing. the article in the WSJ was intended to create volume, just another wolf that looks like a sheep with bad breath

the shorts take any opportunity to short IOM as the shareholder base is itself fractionalized
