Would not the 5% tax decrease be a reduction of a persons tax bracket from say 15% to 10% a 33% reduction or a 5% reduction from say 39% to 34% or an approx 14% reduction? or am I misunderstanding tax bracket reduction
theory??? Would this saving be higher than an increase after taxes under the existing brackets? seems a 5% increase in wages would favor the high wage person. Also, the employer pays substantial additional
taxes on every dollar increase the employee receives. Puzzle. Need a CPA.
