HP didn't use RDRAM where it would help P4, but they somehow manage to use 64MB of RDRAM in the the graphics card: <g>

PS: HP is now shipping their DVD100i DVD+RW drive (it is also included with the new PC in the press release). I got the DVD+RW dirve last week, and it is great. I was able to make a real DVD movie that plays in my daughter's DVD player. Unfortunately, the software that comes with it (MyDVD) has limited flexibility - or I don't know what I am doing. I encode the movie for NTSC 720x480x29.9 frames at various levels of quality. I end up with a mpg file with various sizes. But when I use the MyDVD to write the DVD, on less than a full length movie (about 1 hr 20 min), My DVD tells me that it won't fit (by a tiny bit). It seems to be independent of the encoding quality and the size of the source file.
