Look, simply stated, your analysis of carpet bombing and the lack of it's effect us just plain dumb. You simply don't know how to imagine what it is like and what is does. 60 thousands pounds of explosives per plane and they all land within a few seconds. Carpet bombing to boost morale, dumber than dirt. Carpet bombing to strike panic and terror in the hearts of men. You talk of as I recall "The bombing did not cause their retreat.
