well as FN points out - they could stimulate gold just but closing out the hedges and as both FN and G suggest - these guys will try and raise the gold profile only to further hedge as it hits 300 or so - so it seems quite self limiting - why let the industry rise up? if they keep it down here in the doldrums for another couple years then there really wil be some bargain basement hunting going on
